Our pasts students have said…

“At the start I was wondering ”HOW?” until I took the first step. Awesome tutors delivered far and beyond; I was taken through, practiced, got 1-2-1 support, detailed material...” ~ Joanna Amanyire

“They beat my anticipations of just a regular training session to a hands on, step by step approach of improving your skills with these work tools. The Q&A sessions, the assignments, corrections and follow up session has been quite impressive and also an exciting journey...” ~ Emmanuel Abayowa

Instructions

Yay!

Welcome to Better with Tech (E-learning).

The course is for absolute beginners and even those who have tried some tech. What this course teaches is what I have tried and tested for years and had success with. I will save you time and stress by giving you some quick tips and hacks to solve certain issues.

I don’t code and can’t teach you coding but by the end of the first module, you will have created a digital form ready for rollout.

Here are some guides on tools and devices needed to ensure a smooth learning experience.

  • Reliable WiFi or internet connection

  • A private area free from interruptions. If not possible, blur or use a virtual background

  • At least 2 screens. Because it is a practical class, you are better off with an additional screen - one for learning and one for practising as you learn. One of these screens must be a laptop or monitor usually connected to a laptop. Below is an example set up.

  • Ensure devices are fully charged or plugged in.

  • A notepad to take notes. You will need this.

  • Be logged into your official Microsoft account. If you don’t have an official one, you can use a personal account but there are minor limitations to this.

  • Ensure you have all the apps you will be using on your laptop and devices. Test that it works before the session begins.

  • Anything else that helps you learn.

  • Use Chrome browser as other browsers may present challenges with accessing and using some tools to their fullest.

Happy learning!
